Players are expected to arrange their own insurance (travel, health and liability). All event participants are strongly recommended to obtain adequate cover prior to booking flights and departing their home country.
By registering for the event, participants acknowledge that neither the event organisers, nor the Helsinki DDC, the Finnish Flying Disc Federation, nor the City of Helsinki can be held responsible for any risks or costs associated with injury or ill health at the DDC European Open.
By registering, participants confirm that they are medically and physically fit to compete. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions should consult a medical practitioner before taking part.
The organisers reserve the right to suspend or cancel activities due to adverse weather conditions, including thunderstorms. Participants must comply with any such decisions and should remove themselves from play if they feel conditions are unsafe.
This also applies to theft of participants' sports equipment or personal belongings — whether in accommodation, during transport, or at the sports facilities.
